BIOGRAPHYARTIST - HEIST -BGENRE - SALONE/R&BFROM -SALONEHeist B, the artist formerly known as Black Willow, Salone hip hop on steroid, is now the new face of Hip Hop in Sierrra Leone. Heist B, is a sierra leonian born to a liberian father. At age five,Heist had a repertation of immitating rappers like Nas, and Tu Pac. Like most rappers, Heist writes and produce most of his songs. He believes that its a gift from God when ever one can think of an idea and put it in a song or rap. Heist B attended Prince Of Wales ( POW) a secondary school in freetown. Over the years, Heist B have been working very hard to make a career in what he loves, music. He started as early as primary school when he used to go on music competition and perform infront of a live audience and be judged based on his performance. He always comes untop of competiton when ever he perticipate in functions like that. The group he worked with back in Freetown inspired him for most of the songs and performance he did as a boy.During the civil war in Sierra leone, Heist and his family fleed the country and migrate to Guinea, where he attend school for several years and later adapt to the life style and started picking up on the local language like french, and Soso. Heist later moved to senegal and lived there for a year and half and depart to the United States.Upon arrival, he and his family live in Atlanta Ga where Heist went to Centinal Hight school in Silver Spring Georgia. His daily activities involved playing soccer and traveling the united states playing club soccer. He was the captain of the club he played in roswell. Heist B is part of the men soccer team in Atlanta known as Leone Stars of Atlanta. They are one of the best team in the annual tournment organized in the USA for Sierra Leonian.Recently, Heist B went back with a focus on his music carrier and produce a single called Wan man Gang which he perform in texas at the soccer tournment after party and the ambassardor of Sierrra Leone to USA gave him a standing oveation. At the time, Heist was not recognized by many of the folks in attadence. He later came out with another single called Make Me Wanna which took off in the community and gave him a lot of recognization in Atlanta and surrounding states. Heist is working on his first album which is title Grace Under Stress. The first single from the Album is title Im A Star this song brought mix feelings among Sierrea Leonian aborad and some questioned the nationality of Heist. Later to prove that he was really from Siserra leone, He came out with another track for the upcoming album Baf Pan & Stopper which drives the internet and radio stations crazy. He is a co ceo of Power House Alliance a group formed to bring out talanted artist that are seriouse about putting Sierra leone an Africa on the map.
